Prévue pour 2022, la série spin off basée sur les romans "Fire and Blood" de George R R Martin a officiellement lancé le début de sa production.
C’est sur Twitter qu’HBO a annoncé la bonne nouvelle. La chaîne a aussi partagé des premières images où l'on voit l'équipe en pleine scéance de lecture du scénario.
L'histoire se situe 300 ans avant les événements de la série de D.B. Weiss et David Benioff. L’intrigue sera centrée autour de Viserys Targaryen, un roi bon et chaleureux dont la mort va déclencher une énorme guerre civile : La Danse des Dragons.
Pour incarner Viserys premier du nom on aura Paddy Considine. Il donnera la réplique à Emma d’Arcy , Olivia Cooke, Danny Sapani et Rhys Ifans. Matt Smith, sera aussi de la partie, dans le rôle de Daemon Targaryen.
